Simon Glass is an engineer on Google's Chrome OS team. He led the firmware for Snow,
the first ARM Chromebook. Currently he leads the kernel effort for a next generation
device. Simon is an active contributor to the U-Boot project and works on various
parts of firmware, kernel and the interface between them. Prior to Google Simon
worked at ARM in Cambridge and Austin, and thereafter started Bluewater Systems, an
ARM/Linux Electronics company in New Zealand. (speaking exp: guest lecturer at
Canterbury Uni 2000-2005, a few Linux/software conferences, internal tech talks)
