Liqun Cheng

Liqun Cheng is the lead performance engineer for 3 generations of servers at Google, where he is responsible for cluster performance and TCO optimization. His interests range from distributed system software infrastructure to energy proportional computing. Prior to Google, Liqun was a performance architect for 5 generations of Xeon servers at Intel. He received his B.S. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Utah.
