What is the Visiting Faculty Program?
Each year, through the Google Visiting Faculty Program, over 25 academics visit Google from universities all over the world. They work closely with our research and engineering teams, and have the opportunity to explore projects at industrial scale, work with state-of-the-art technology, and experience Google culture up close. Google provides a great combination of interesting research problems, a wealth of data, world-class computing infrastructure, and the chance to deploy research in a forum that will be used by millions of people and make a real difference in the world. Both the professors and the Google researchers benefit as new and exciting ideas are discussed and shared. It is often the case that faculty return to their universities with new research directions and educational ideas.
But don't just take it from us – hear from the professors themselves in our Visiting Faculty Interview Series:
We are not currently accepting applications for the Visiting Faculty Program.
