I am a software engineer at Google Pittsburgh where I work on models that predict clickthrough rates for ads. I completed my PhD in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon in 2009, where I worked with Geoff Gordon. My thesis focused on statistical machine learning methods for efficiently modeling high-dimensional temporal data for prediction and classification in mobile robotics, computer vision, signal processing and other areas.
