Ashish Raniwala

Ashish Raniwala joined Google in 2006. He is the technical lead for Flume, which is a system for simplified expression and efficient execution of massively parallel data-processing pipelines. He received his B.Tech. degree from IIT, Delhi in 1998, his M.S. degree from SUNY-Stony Brook in 2000, and his Ph.D. degree from SUNY-Stony Brook in 2009, all in Computer Science.
