Martin C. Stumpe
Martin studied physics in Muenster, Germany, and graduated with a PhD in theoretical and computational physics at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Goettingen, Germany. He moved to the US to work at Stanford University as Postdoctoral Researcher in computational biophysics for two years, before joining NASA/SETI in Mountain View to develop signal processing algorithms for NASA's Kepler Mission. During those years, Martin also developed and brought to market a video analysis software (AnTracks) that is used in behavioral ecology. In 2012, he then joined Google to work on Computer Vision in StreetView, and since 2015 is working on advancing the Life Sciences with Machine Learning.
