Guy Calvert joined Google in September 2007 as a product specialist and decision support analyst within AdSense Online Sales and Operations, taking a special interest in the engineering design and theoretical implications of Smart Pricing. Prior to joining Google he worked in finance for 9 years for various hedge funds, investment banks, and other investment firms. He also spent a year as a road gambler playing poker tournaments and cash games. Guy has a bachelor's degree in pure mathematics from Sydney University and a D.Phil. in mathematical physics from Oxford University. He is a board member of the non-profit Dup15q Alliance.

Outside of work Guy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, playing board games, fighting for freedom, and contesting the World Series of Poker.
