Beryl Nelson

Beryl Nelson is an engineering manager in Search Infrastructure. Her early career was
in languages, including two early Lisp implementations, and DEC Ada, where she was
the "language lawyer". From 1995 on, she lived in Asia and Europe, returning to the
US in 2014. Based on her experiences and interest in the cognitive science
literature, has been active in lecturing on the literature relating to unconscious
bias and stereotype threat.
