Gabriel Kliot

I am a Senior Software Development Engineer in Google, working on Google Compute Engine. Before that I was a Senior Research Software Development Engineer in the Cloud Computing Futures group in Microsoft Research, where I worked for 6.5 years on Project Orleans: Distributed Actor Platform, which we open sourced in January 2015. Orleans is a programming model and distributed runtime that simplifies the way people build large distributed services that scale automatically. I also worked on Horton: Querying Large Distributed Graphs. My Phd thesis was Probabilistic Middleware Services in Wireless Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks. External web cite.
